Brembo is a world leader and innovator in the field of automotive disc brake technology. The company supplies high performance braking systems and components for cars, motorbikes, industrial vehicles and machinery.

As a result of the complex and detailed nature of their business, Brembo hired ESW to create a comprehensive Microsoft Excel & Access database reporting application and to enhance their existing Paint Schedule tool. The inefficiencies within their previous systems led to an opportunity to make improvements to Brembo’s internal business processes and workflows.

The Solution:

ESW developed a Microsoft Excel & Access cost database reporting tool that generates custom reports and utilizes parameter tables to map several lines of data, and also contains a link to the production database to automatically pull in required information. In addition to creating a reporting tool, modifications to Brembo’s Paint Schedule tool were made by developing advanced formulas and macros to predict future production and inventory levels, as well as optimizing performance throughout the tool.
